About Us
At our core, we are deeply committed to sourcing our ingredients from local farms and producers in the Great Lakes Region, especially Southwest Michigan. We are family owned and operated by Michigan natives, Chef Ken Miller and Ashley Miller.
Our goal is to create an experience that’s equal parts delicious, familiar, exciting, and welcoming.
Nearly everything on our menus are hand-made by our team. Bread, ice cream, and breakfast sausage are just a few examples.
Think of Kingbird and The Ordinary as a restaurant with a split personality.
We offer a daily brunch from 10am - 2pm, Wednesday through Saturday, no reservations required.
Our monthly dinner series, The Ordinary, is all about discovery. This elevated, synchronized communal dining experience is a fixed menu served in multiple courses and features more focused, minimalist dishes. Reservations are required for The Ordinary.
