In this edition of The Ordinary, we focus on the flavors of the forest with some often overlooked or forgotten wild edibles. Each dish in this menu is decidedly minimalist to allow the ingredients to speak for themselves and to celebrate what they have to offer.
Instead of the every day standards, this menu is built around North American species like Bison, Elk, Rabbit, Walleye, etc.
The Ordinary: Holiday Party

For this edition of The Ordinary, we took inspiration from a “Charles Dickens-esque” family gathering, complete with a centerpiece of Roasted Goose with plenty of wintery flavors to accompany.
One of our favorite parts of a holiday gathering with friends and family? The grazing table (minus that one relative that want to talk about their paint swatch collection every year). Ready from the moment you arrive, dust off the cold, grab a drink, and mingle a little before dinner starts.
